Message from the PTA Board
Happy October DSES! Thank you so much for all the help we have received since the beginning of the year. We are especially grateful to all the time Carol LaBarre has put into the ordering of 940 class shirts- that was an accomplishment! She is the volunteer of the month for October, the parking spot is hers!!
We are happy to report that our second Spirit Stick sale went great- over $650.00 in sales were made and profits will be used to purchase the Watch Dog sticks, the Kinder 100 days sticks and Red Ribbon Week sticks. Thank you for making this such a successful program.
We would also like to extend a big thanks to Kristi Rutter and Carol LaBarre for getting the Math Stars enrichment program off the ground this year. To learn more or volunteer, visit the Math Stars page.
The DOGS program kicked off this week and each student whose dad serves as a Watchdog will receive a spirit stick.
5th graders are so excited about Camp Champions, coming up next week!
The district coffee will be held at DSES on Oct. 9 at 8:00am, and the principal coffee/PTA meeting will be Oct. 23rd at 8:00am- hope to see you there.
The students are looking forward to the first Cool Cat Cash store which will be Oct. 28-29th. Please look for the volunteer link on the www.dsepta.org website and consider volunteering an hour or two. Have a magnificent October!
