A Message From the President
Welcome back to school! We hope that you are back into the school routine and that the mornings are getting easier. We are looking forward to an awesome year! A HUGE thanks to all of our incredible volunteers who have helped the transition from summer to school to be a smooth one. From our traffic duty Watch DOGS, to our School Supply Coordinators- we are so lucky to have so much help!
One ongoing need is from our lovely workroom coordinator, Janice Englehart. Sharpening pencils, sorting construction paper, and making copies are just a few of the jobs she needs help with. Please contact email@example.com if you would like to help volunteer in our Teacher Workroom for the upcoming school year. Janice has been putting in a lot of time into our school and has earned the honor of the “Volunteer Parking Spot” for the month of September! Way to go Janice!
Don’t forget NO SCHOOL Monday, September 7th! Have a great September!

Don’t Forget to Connect with DSE PTA
You now have more options when it comes to joining DSE PTA. Sign up online anytime of the day or night at http://dsepta.org/membership and pay with a credit card. You may also pick up a membership form in the front office or download here and return it to school with check or cash. There is no volunteer commitment when you join! We just need your support to continue the school enrichment programs.
We already have more than 200 members this year so far! Remember we love men to join as well, so we encourage dads, grandfathers and other friends to sign up and help support our children.
If we reach 375 DSE PTA members by September 25th, some lucky students will get to make Mrs. Raymond and Mrs. Talamantes into human ice cream sundaes! That means they’ll be drenched in ice cream and all of the toppings at a Friday assembly. Help the children (and the principals) reach their goal!
Reminders for Friday September 4th:
Join Us on September 11th for the first PTA and Fall Fair Meeting of the 2015-2016 Year!
Join us in the CL&I for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. for our first PTA meeting of the year. This is a great time to learn about the many opportunities we have and how the PTA supports our children.
In addition, our first Fall Fair meeting will be held afterwards at 9:00 a.m. Stay to learn about the many ways you can contribute to this awesome event!
