Unfortunately, Octoberfest is cancelled this year. For our new families, this is a fair fundraiser we have held for 23 years at DSE!  We will be back next year, but in the meantime there are other ways that you can contribute to help PTA make a difference for students and staff at DSE!

  1. Box Tops – download the app, sign up to donate to Dripping Springs Elem School, and start scanning!
  2. Go to Amazon Smile and choose Dripping Springs Elementary School PTA as your charity. When you shop, 0.5% comes to us automatically and you will still have access to the same products and pricing. Then make sure your Amazon phone app is up to date – find ’Settings’ in the Amazon main menu (☰). Tap on ‘AmazonSmile’ and follow the instructions to link your app to the charity.
  3. Cool Cat Cash Store – Have you been cleaning out closets?  We can take your donations!  Please contact the Cool Cat Cash Store to schedule a drop off time with PTA.
  4. Support students and staff by making a monetary donation to help fund enrichment programs, assemblies, recess equipment, and staff appreciation.
  5. Upload yearbook photos using the Balfour Image Share app.  It’s easy to create an account, add our project number (120093), and add photos for the yearbook!
  6. The mission of PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality.  Watch this video and please help us support every child at DSE by joining.

Early voting for the 11/3/2020 election is 10/13-10/30/2020.  In addition to national and state races, Dripping Springs area residents will vote for DSISD Board of Trustees.  Review candidate information and watch a candidate forum from 10/1/2020. Early voting locations in our area are Dripping Springs Ranch Park and Hays County Precinct 4 Office.  Additional Election Day locations include: Belterra Centre and North Hays County Fire/Rescue Station #2 Driftwood Battalion.

“I Matter Because” is the 2020/2021 Reflections theme.  Encourage students to start thinking of ideas to enter into this national art program.  They can enter in one or more of the categories: photography, visual arts, literature, dance choreography, musical composition, and film production.  Completed entries can be turned in at the DSE office October 26-30. Download rules and entry forms.
